Join Our Team as a Climate Field Organizer

Action for the Climate Emergency is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Climate Field Organizer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to accelerate decarbonization and drive climate action.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective community engagement strategies to promote climate awareness and action.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and deliver comprehensive training programs for climate field organizers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, activists, and policymakers.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform our climate advocacy efforts and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Support the development and implementation of climate-related programs and initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or public policy.
  • Strong understanding of climate change and its impacts on communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week and at least one Saturday per month for in-person engagements.
