Abdominal Organ Transplant Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Abdominal Organ Transplant Surgeon to join our team at Emory University Department of Surgery. As a key member of our Division of Transplant Surgery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to patients undergoing kidney and kidney-pancreas transplants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical care pathways for abdominal organ transplant patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes
- Contribute to the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of abdominal transplant surgery
Requirements:
- Completion of an ASTS fellowship in Abdominal Organ Transplant
- Abundance of experience in deceased kidney, liver, and pancreas and living liver and kidney procurement
- Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
- Controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
