Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales of our products within the Metro NJ/PA Home Depot stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Leverage Business Relationships

Establish and maintain strong relationships with store personnel to promote sales and comparative growth.

Conduct Regular Store Visits

Visit stores regularly to assess sales performance, provide training and support, and identify opportunities for growth.

Persuade Store Personnel

Train and support store personnel to offer our products to their customers, highlighting the benefits and features of our kitchen cabinets.

Train and Support Store Personnel

Provide ongoing training and support to store personnel, including education on our product offerings, marketing programs, and promotions.

Proactively Address Product Issues

Identify and resolve product, warranty, and service issues in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain Display Presence

Ensure that our display presence in showrooms is maintained and updated regularly.

Analyze Sales Metrics

Monitor and analyze sales metrics to develop tactical and strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales goals.

Review Budget and Plan

Review and maintain quarterly account business plans and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements

  • Education

Bachelor's degree or 8 years of selling experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.

Computer Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other sales-related software.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with external customers.

Partnership Building

Demonstrated ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with department, cross-functional business teams, and customers.

Project Management

Excellent project management and budgeting skills, with a deadline orientation and focus.

Organizational Skills

Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.

Travel

Ability to travel daily within assigned region and quarterly beyond region.

Driver's License

Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Lifting

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience

5 years of retail sales or business material industry experience.

Reading and Understanding Sales Reports

Ability to read and understand sales reports.
