Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales of our products within the Metro NJ/PA Home Depot stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and Leverage Business Relationships
Establish and maintain strong relationships with store personnel to promote sales and comparative growth.
Conduct Regular Store VisitsVisit stores regularly to assess sales performance, provide training and support, and identify opportunities for growth.
Persuade Store PersonnelTrain and support store personnel to offer our products to their customers, highlighting the benefits and features of our kitchen cabinets.
Train and Support Store PersonnelProvide ongoing training and support to store personnel, including education on our product offerings, marketing programs, and promotions.
Proactively Address Product IssuesIdentify and resolve product, warranty, and service issues in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain Display PresenceEnsure that our display presence in showrooms is maintained and updated regularly.
Analyze Sales MetricsMonitor and analyze sales metrics to develop tactical and strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales goals.
Review Budget and PlanReview and maintain quarterly account business plans and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements
- Education
Bachelor's degree or 8 years of selling experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
Computer SkillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other sales-related software.
Communication SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with external customers.
Partnership BuildingDemonstrated ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with department, cross-functional business teams, and customers.
Project ManagementExcellent project management and budgeting skills, with a deadline orientation and focus.
Organizational SkillsExcellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
TravelAbility to travel daily within assigned region and quarterly beyond region.
Driver's LicenseValid driver's license and good driving record.
LiftingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience
5 years of retail sales or business material industry experience.
Reading and Understanding Sales ReportsAbility to read and understand sales reports.
Relationship BuildingAbility to build and maintain relationships with in-store designers.
