Licensed Speech Language Pathologist

Position Overview:
Deliver#speech language therapy#services to individuals facing communication disorders, functional challenges, disabilities, or alterations in physical capabilities and health due to various factors such as injury or illness. Additionally, offer preventive and wellness initiatives that encompass screenings and health promotion activities.
Incorporate aspects of patient/client management, including assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and therapeutic intervention, aimed at optimizing functional results. #Physical capabilities required include the ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and assist patients.
Required Qualifications:
Must hold a valid license in North Carolina to practice as a#Speech Language Pathologist#or possess the capability to secure licensure, along with maintaining an active membership with ASHA. Experience in acute care, long-term care, and/or outpatient environments is preferred. Familiarity with dysphagia and MBSS is advantageous.
