Job Overview

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support our team on a full-time basis. This position will primarily focus on serving an elementary caseload, providing valuable support to students in need of speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Implement individual or group therapy sessions for elementary school students, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote communication skills and language development.
  • Collaborate with the Speech-Language Pathologist to develop and execute treatment plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and session notes, utilizing data-driven approaches to inform instruction and drive student outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other team members regarding student performance and goals, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or a related field.
  • North Carolina SLPA Licensure.
