Job Summary

This position is responsible for the maintenance and modification of the Building Automation System (BAS) related to the operation of HVAC equipment that serve's the medical, educational, and research facilities on the UAMS Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with all problems and/or emergencies relating to facility issues on the UAMS Campus.
  • Utilize knowledge of environmental control systems, advanced computer technology, electronics, direct digital control (DDC), pneumatic controls, hydronics water systems, mechanical/electrical systems and control techniques.
  • Respond and resolve service calls, providing preventive maintenance, technical support and troubleshooting knowledge of Building Automation Systems.
Requirements
  • 1 year of Technical/Trade school and 1 year of HVAC Control experience or HS diploma/GED plus 2 years of HVAC Control's Experience.
  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of installation, diagnosis and repair of Building Automation Systems.
