Our client operates within the construction industry and seeks a cooperative team member who values a collaborative work environment. The base salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience, and the position requires in-office attendance each day, along with competitive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile essential balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and various profit and loss statements
  • Prepare and post both standard and non-standard journal entries
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and issues within the general ledger
  • Contribute to the month-end closing process
  • Manage fixed assets and leases
  • Assist the VP of Finance in compiling schedules related to the monthly close, such as work in process
  • Engage in various accounting and finance projects as opportunities arise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Familiarity with general accounting practices
  • CPA certification is a plus
  • Experience in public accounting is advantageous
