At Sakata Seed America, INC., we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with payroll processing, including preparing and processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Enter payroll data into the system accurately, including new hires, terminations, timekeeping information, and any other relevant changes.
- Verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant data to facilitate payroll calculations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payroll transactions, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible for audits or inquiries.
- Handle confidential employee information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Assist in generating payroll reports for management, HR, and accounting purposes as needed.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner, providing assistance and resolving issues as necessary.
- Provide administrative support, including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies.
- Perform general clerical support for the HR department, including filing paperwork, data entry, and office upkeep.
- Assist HR managers with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum 4 years of administrative experience, preferably in HR.
- Minimum two years payroll and/or accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software (ADP).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
- Salary: $25-$28 per hour.
