About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Actalent, a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on industrial sector projects. They will be responsible for coordinating with other disciplines, conducting field investigations, and performing duties with multiple projects within established schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with other disciplines and work in a team environment
  • Conduct field investigations when needed, produce field reports with detailed sketches
  • Perform duties with multiple projects within the established schedules and budgets
  • Work on a wide variety of project types, scales, and complexity
  • Meet with clients and review electrical systems installation during construction for general compliance with construction documents

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Five (5) or more years relevant work experience in the industrial sector
  • Professional Engineer (PE) Registration preferred, but not required
  • Working knowledge of NEC, IEC, ISA & IEEE design complying with industry standards is a plus
  • AutoCAD and/or Revit skills preferred, but not mandatory; Arc-flash study experience a plus
