Job Overview

Position Summary: Collaborate with the Research & Development division to innovate and refine product offerings, optimize existing formulations, and evaluate the efficacy of raw materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of nail lacquer development in partnership with marketing, sales, clients, and suppliers.
  • Independently handle intricate product specifications
    • Develop and improve products, processes, and methodologies to fulfill project objectives.
    • Prepare prototypes for evaluation and track product stability.
    • Support color matching initiatives.
  • Conduct investigations on designated technologies
    • Assess new materials and prototype effectiveness.
    • Investigate patents and remain informed on industry advancements.
  • Offer technical guidance
    • Recommend product improvements and process enhancements.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to achieve targeted results
    • Oversee product testing and scaling for production.
    • Foster strong connections with colleagues and clients.
  • Advance scientific expertise and ensure formulation integrity
    • Contribute to the development of laboratory skills.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing, Laboratory, and Safety Standards.
  • Effectively manage data collection and analysis.
  • Prepare and present scientific findings.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of R&D experience in a relevant sector, ideally in nail formulation.
  2. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline.
  3. Strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a collaborative environment.
  4. Expertise in technical color matching and laboratory protocols.
  5. Proficiency in viscosity, rheology, and color cosmetic formulations.
