Objective: The role involves delivering exceptional drink service within the bar environment, ensuring guests receive prompt attention while adhering to all alcohol service protocols. Reporting to the Beverage Shift Manager is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcome guests and provide information on current promotions.
2. Accurately take drink orders, showcasing knowledge of all available brands and beverages; memorization is crucial.
3. Enter orders into the point-of-sale system to notify the bartender of requests.
4. Regularly check on guests to replenish drinks and assess satisfaction levels.
5. Serve beverages to patrons while managing payment transactions.
6. Ensure the service station is clean and organized before, during, and after shifts.
7. Maintain cleanliness in guest areas by clearing empty glasses and bottles and tidying ashtrays.
8. Verify age compliance by checking IDs of individuals ordering alcoholic drinks.
9. Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must obtain and maintain ABLE Certification.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.
- 1-3 months of relevant education and experience.
- Basic math skills are required.
