Therapy Support Specialist

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Nexus HR Services.
About the Position:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with treatment programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to lift and move patients with mobility issues, and possess a strong understanding of exercise and physical therapy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct routine patient assessments and document findings.
- Administer exercises and treatments as directed by licensed physical therapists.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in California.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
- 1+ years of experience in a physical therapy setting.
- Strong knowledge of exercise and physical therapy equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
