Arms Wide Open ABA is seeking a highly skilled Behavior Therapy Specialist to join our team. This role involves working directly with clients to support their development and help them achieve their behavioral goals.

About the Role

As a Behavior Therapy Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering one-on-one behavior therapy sessions to clients based on individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.">
  • Implementing behavior interventions and data collection procedures as outlined in the client's behavior plan.">
  • Observing and documenting client behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.">
  • Assisting in the modification of intervention strategies based on collected data and feedback from the supervising BCBA.">
  • Supporting clients in developing and enhancing communication, social, and daily living skills.">
  • Maintaining a positive and encouraging environment to foster client engagement and progress.">
  • Attending training sessions and supervision meetings to enhance skills and ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards.">

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care and communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Compensation Package

">

This rewarding position offers a competitive hourly rate of $27-$32 per hour, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include paid time off, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
