Job Title: NOC Technical Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled NOC Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our network infrastructure, including Windows Desktops, Windows Servers, Linux Servers, and networking devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer issues, utilizing software tool sets and technical expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve network operations
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of network systems, protocols, and technologies to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of technical support experience in a customer-facing IT service organization
  • Microsoft Windows OS support experience
  • Remote or virtual machine support experience a plus
  • Network fault monitoring dashboard experience
  • Experience with endpoint administration for security, patch, or backup management
  • Use of ServiceNow or Remedy for case and incident management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain level-headed and professional at all times

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma
  • 2+ years of technical support experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required

Travel Requirements: Under 10%
