Production Support Engineer for Hardware Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Production Support Specialist to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our production support team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our production engineers, ensuring the smooth transition of new products to production.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to production engineers, resolving design and manufacturing issues and providing innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, quality, and other engineering disciplines to resolve production and transition to production issues.
- Lead the transition to production of new products, ensuring timely and efficient implementation.
- Partner with development teams to establish test requirements and procedures.
- Travel to multiple sites, including Andover, MA and Woburn, MA, to support production and transition to production activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years' of prior work experience, or an Advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years' of prior work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuit design or analysis, and/or digital signal processing.
- U.S. government issued security clearance required; U.S. citizens eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and microwave components/subsystems, such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters.
- Experience with test equipment and test automation.
- Experience in applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to achieve production yield improvements.
- Experience in resolving production issues with suppliers and sub-tier suppliers.
- Technical writing and formal presentation experience.
- Communications skills to interface with operations, supply chain, quality, and other engineering disciplines.
- Proficiency in Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), and Advanced Design System (ADS).
- Relocation assistance based on candidate eligibility.
- Competitive salary range: $77,000 - $163,000.
