Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our Receiver, Exciter, and Back-End Processing (REBEP) Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting our products throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define system requirements and flow from system to Receiver/Exciter level.
  • Develop architecture for Receivers and Exciters, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Define interfaces between subsystems, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Support signal processing algorithm definition based on system needs, leveraging your expertise in RF chain design and analysis.
  • Address technical issues during design, integration, and testing, utilizing your skills in troubleshooting radar systems and implementing corrective actions.
  • Analyze Radar Receiver/Exciter data to identify and resolve performance issues, applying your knowledge of Digital Signal Processing techniques and FPGA implementation.
  • Collaborate with customers on technical and program levels, providing expert guidance and support.
  • This role is 100% on-site in a Raytheon facility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 8+ years of experience or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Radar Receiver/Exciter analysis, design, or testing.
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Radar Receiver/Exciter integration and testing.
  • Proficiency in IQ/signal processing analysis using various programming languages.
  • Skills in troubleshooting radar systems and implementing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing techniques and FPGA implementation.
  • Ability to find technical solutions for complex requirements.
