Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to exceed customer expectations, greet and assist customers, and operate cash registers and scanners to itemize purchases.
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Team Leader in creating and supporting a customer-first store culture, model product knowledge and selling techniques to enhance the customer experience, and facilitate merchandising the store to create an appealing environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, paperwork, and facility controls.
  • Team Leadership: Assist the Store Team Leader with scheduling employees, providing adequate training, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring employee compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Assist in ensuring financial integrity of the store through strict cashier accountability, key control, adherence to company security practices, and cash control procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a specialty retail environment preferred, with six months of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and develop and maintain organization and attention to detail.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Frequent walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
  • Environmental Factors: Fast-paced environment, moderate noise level, exposure to strong scents and fragrances, and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
