POSITION SUMMARY

This role is essential for the upkeep, sanitation, and maintenance of the facility. The Facilities Associate plays a crucial part in both routine and preventative maintenance, ensuring cleanliness and operational efficiency of all equipment, alongside general facility maintenance. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to quality work are vital in this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute all tasks safely, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct assigned cleaning duties with a focus on maintaining a hygienic environment.
  • Assist in construction, preventative, routine, and breakdown maintenance and repairs on all facility equipment.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies effectively.
  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the facility's operational areas.
  • Perform additional maintenance tasks as required.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere through a proactive attitude and self-motivation.
  • Research and implement new methods to meet or exceed operational goals while complying with applicable laws.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently or collaboratively with sound judgment and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Comprehension of and compliance with company rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings.
  • Compliance with all legal and company regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Approval from state regulatory agency to obtain a cannabis agent badge.
  • Regularly required to perform physical tasks including grasping, talking, hearing, climbing, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crawling, seeing, and repetitive motions.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to remain on feet for extended periods. Must be capable of lifting, carrying, and balancing up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) safely and with caution.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and pass all required pre-employment screenings.
  • Thorough understanding of all relevant laws, regulations, and requirements to maintain facility compliance at all times, including staying updated on any changes.
  • Successful completion of all required background checks.
  • Adherence to all regulatory requirements for employment in the cannabis sector.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus.
  • Ability to internalize training and follow instructions accurately.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.
