POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key member of the University Health System team, the Member Service Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the highest level of service to our members.

Responsibilities include:

\u2022 Providing accurate and timely information to members regarding their benefits and services

\u2022 Resolving member services issues in a professional and courteous manner

\u2022 Ensuring compliance with HIPAA-related policies and procedures

\u2022 Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve departmental goals and objectives

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of college-level courses in business, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of one year of HMO experience is also preferred.
