About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team at the Beacon Brook Center for Health & Rehabilitation. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a critical role in leading an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Guide Nursing Staff: Lead and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including staffing assignments, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.
  • Conduct Regular Assessments: Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards and ensure the highest level of care.
  • Provide Mentorship and Training: Provide mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols, including those related to patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Valid State Nursing License: A valid state nursing license is required for this role.
  • Advanced Degree or Certification: An advanced degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in a Supervisory Role: Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting is preferred.
  • Compassionate and Empathetic Approach: A compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care is essential for this role.
  • Strong Clinical, Leadership, and Organizational Skills: Strong clinical, leadership, and organizational skills are required to succeed in this role.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
