Chamberlain University is seeking a qualified Clinical Faculty member to teach in our Fundamentals of Nursing program. As a Clinical Faculty member, you will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Teaching: Teach Fundamentals of Nursing courses in a clinical setting, providing direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to individuals or groups.
- Course Planning: Plan clinical experiences for students, develop written clinical assignments, and maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies and procedures.
- Student Evaluation: Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives.
- Remediation: Be available for remediation of students as required or needed.
- Communication: Keep course coordinators informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Massachusetts.
- At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse.
- Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
- Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning.
- Exceptional subject matter expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sites.
- Eager to serve students and colleagues with passion, respect, and care.
Chamberlain University is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the candidate's education and experience.
