Job Title: Clinical Faculty Position in Adult Health/Medical-Surgical Nursing

Chamberlain University is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Faculty member to teach in our Adult Health/Medical-Surgical Nursing program. As a Clinical Faculty member, you will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement clinical experiences for nursing students
  • Provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students
  • Evaluate and provide feedback to students on their performance
  • Develop and post written clinical assignments
  • Grade student assignments and provide feedback
  • May teach didactic course content under supervision of course coordinator
Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Massachusetts
  • At least two years professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
  • Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required
  • Passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning
  • Exceptional subject matter expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills
