About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Sterile Processing Tech to join our team at Vail Health. As a key member of our Sterile Processing Department, you will be responsible for directing day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of infection control and sterile processing, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise the Sterile Processing team to ensure efficient and effective processing of surgical instruments
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a clean and sterile environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of sterilization and processing activities
  • Provide training and guidance to new employees and staff members
Requirements
  • Two years of experience in Sterile Processing, with a focus on leadership and management
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
