We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Neuro Oncologist to join our team at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System.

About the Position

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Children's Hospital of Richmond is committed to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. As a Pediatric Neuro Oncologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the program of Pediatric Neuro Oncology and providing continuity of care for new and existing patients.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching: You will have teaching responsibilities in the area of Critical Care Medicine and provide mentorship to medical students, residents, and Fellows.
  • Research: You will have working knowledge in basic research methods and participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research.
  • Service: You will serve on departmental, hospital, or School of Medicine level committees and participate in professional activities.
  • Clinical: You will serve as a pediatric neuro-oncologist for the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology.
Requirements
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an academic medical center
