Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced researcher to join our team as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatric Oncology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric oncology research and a proven track record of securing extramural funding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in pediatric oncology, with a focus on leukemia, lymphoma, sarcomas, brain tumors, or developmental therapeutics.
  • Mentor pre- and post-doctoral students, as well as junior faculty members, in research and grant writing.
  • Develop and submit grant applications for extramural funding to support research projects.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance the field of pediatric oncology.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university service activities, such as committee work and peer review.
Requirements
  • PhD or MD/PhD in pediatrics or a related field.
  • Assistant or Associate Professor rank, with tenure or tenure-track status.
  • Strong publication record and experience with extramural funding.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and training junior researchers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
