Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Neuro Oncologist to join our team at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. As a member of our Department of Pediatrics, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the advancement of pediatric neuro oncology research.

About the Position

This is a full-time, open-rank position with a 12-month appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to provide clinical care to patients with pediatric neuro oncology disorders, participate in teaching and mentoring activities, and engage in research and service activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients with pediatric neuro oncology disorders
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring activities, including supervision of residents and fellows
  • Contribute to research and service activities, including participation in departmental and hospital committees
  • Develop and implement educational programs for medical students, residents, and fellows
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
  • Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment or commitment to do so
  • Previous experience in an academic medical center is preferred
