Field Service Technician

At Goodwin Recruiting, we are dedicated to ensuring that every commercial kitchen operates at peak efficiency. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our mission by diagnosing, repairing, and performing scheduled maintenance on a variety of cooking, refrigeration, and dishwashing systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our clients' food service operations, maximizing equipment uptime, and driving overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician

  • Deliver comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, ware-washing, and specialized foodservice equipment.
  • Serve all clients in your designated area by showcasing your mechanical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency in interpreting diagrams and schematics.
  • Engage with manufacturers as necessary to assist with diagnostics and parts identification.
  • Generate precise and timely administrative documents, including work orders, time reports, receipts, and inventory of truck stock.

Qualifications for the Field Service Technician

  • A minimum of one year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, or HVAC.
  • Willingness to participate in an emergency on-call rotation, which may include nights and weekends.
  • Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (such as EPA/CFESA) are preferred.
  • Experience in commercial refrigeration or cooking equipment repair is advantageous.
