Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Program Management Office (PMO) and lead the coordination, management, and status communication of our Engineering Department. This role will report to the Director of Engineering Program Management and be responsible for ensuring the successful development of our electric stripped chassis for the Medium Duty truck market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cross-functionally collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and components.
  • Work closely with Engineers to implement robust engineering processes, including Design Reviews, DFMEA, CAE, Fastener Calculations, and DVPRs.
  • Attend weekly Product Development Team (PDT) meetings to stay informed about potential issues or timing risks.
  • Ensure a Jira ticket is generated for any concerns and follow through to implement a Root Cause Analysis process.
  • Manage the change control process and work with materials planning and manufacturing to ensure effective implementation of new revisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Program Management in a technical sector, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite/Workspace, SmartSheets (or MS Project), and Atlassian Jira.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
