Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Operations Assistant to join our Corporate Security team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing security support and oversight to our Corporate Headquarters in Carlsbad, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and Escort Vendors and Visitors: Provide security escort services for vendors and visitors to our campus, ensuring their safety and security.
  • Security Oversight and Situational Awareness: Provide situational awareness for the Campus Security team and ensure that security and access control policies are enforced in a professional and personable manner.
  • Security and Access Control: Understand and enforce security and access control policies, ensuring that all individuals on campus are properly cleared and authorized.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with a diverse group of individuals, including employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Follow Detailed Instructions: Follow detailed instructions and carry out directions as instructed by management.
  • Situational Awareness: Maintain strong situational awareness at all times, being aware of potential security threats and taking appropriate action.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals on campus, ensuring that their needs are met and they feel welcome and secure.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Be willing and able to work flexible hours or fill shifts as needed, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Driver's License: Valid CA Driver's License required.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
