Security Officer

Atlanta Family & Immigration Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, clients, and premises.
Key Responsibilities- Surveillance and Protection: Monitor and protect client property at our office location from intrusion and theft.
- Access Control: Assess persons coming near the building and entering inside the building.
- Patrol and Inspection: Patrol employee/client areas to detect potential unsecured property.
- Incident Reporting: Obtain information on incidents that occur on post and write incident reports.
- Client Assistance: Assist employees/clients entering and exiting the building before and after work.
- Site Security: Monitor worksites to prevent trespassing, vandalism, and theft.
- Stress Management: Ability to handle and navigate high-stress environments that require emotional intelligence.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Experience: 1 year of customer service experience (Required)
- Certifications: Current guard card (a plus but not required)
- Personal Qualities: Professional appearance and demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, regular and punctual attendance to all shifts, detail-oriented, level-headed, and calm under pressure.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of technical applications (Preferred)
- Soft Skills: Ability to provide exceptional customer service, public service oriented, effective communication skills, and discretionary skills.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for extensive periods of time during hour shifts.
