The Landscape Enhancement Operations Supervisor is a proactive role responsible for overseeing the daily functions of all contracted services at designated job sites. Key areas of management include landscape development, irrigation system setup, subcontractor oversight, and executing various planning, administrative, and compliance tasks. The supervisor will interpret project plans and specifications to ensure installations align with those guidelines and the standards set by Bland Landscaping Company.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Lead and mentor installation teams on all facets of service delivery, emphasizing safety protocols.
- Implement the agreed-upon scope of installation projects.
- Interpret and execute project plans according to specifications for the contracted work.
- Oversee the installation of plant materials, lawns, irrigation systems, and hardscapes.
- Engage in tasks such as digging, tilling, planting, raking, watering, and landscape clean-up.
- Manage the loading and unloading of heavy machinery and planting supplies from vehicles.
- Handle both bagged and bulk materials efficiently.
- Organize and track daily work assignments for the crew.
- Plan, coordinate, and gather necessary equipment and materials each day.
- Participate in crew and departmental safety and general meetings.
- Complete daily timekeeping through BOSS Mobile Timesheet.
- Handle administrative paperwork as required.
- Ensure the cleanliness and standardization of trucks and trailers.
- Utilize technology for effective communication.
- Maintain daily communication with the Production Manager regarding progress and planning.
- Conduct daily start-up and shut-down procedures.
- Ensure job quality and manage working hours effectively.
- Drive company-owned vehicles safely, with or without trailers.
- Adjust irrigation controllers and possess basic knowledge of irrigation components.
- Foster positive on-site relationships and communication with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment.
- Assist with snow removal during winter months.
- Weekly Salary Range: $750 - $995
- Health Insurance through BCBS with Vision/Dental Options
- Annual Paid Time Off plus 11 Observed Holidays
- 401K Plan.

Requirements
* Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Requirement to wear sturdy footwear, company uniforms, and assigned PPE
* Professional and courteous demeanor
* Adherence to safety protocols with chemicals and equipment
* Use of company-provided eye and ear protection as necessary
* Valid NC Driver's License with a clean driving record (CDL preferred)
* Ability to pass a criminal background check
* Willingness to obtain NC Pesticide Applicator's License
* Strong communication skills and ability to inspire team members
* Compliance with company policies and procedures
