Workforce Development and Refugee Services: CAMBA has a rich history of connecting individuals to sustainable employment opportunities. Our programs are designed to promote equity and inclusivity, focusing on empowering the most vulnerable populations, including refugees and immigrants. We specialize in assisting job seekers facing unique barriers to employment, offering tailored training and job placement services that align with the needs of our employer partners.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative of CAMBA’s services within the community, aiming to attract clients and facilitate their engagement with our programs.
  • Implement outreach strategies, including in-person and online initiatives, to connect with potential clients and community stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to enhance visibility and awareness of our services.
  • Conduct presentations and informational sessions for community organizations and government agencies to promote our offerings.
  • Follow up with potential clients to ensure they are informed and supported throughout their journey.
  • Assist clients in identifying and overcoming barriers to employment, providing guidance on available resources.
  • Conduct initial assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds, skills, and needs, tailoring support accordingly.
  • Track and document client progress, ensuring accurate records for reporting and evaluation purposes.
  • Advise clients on setting realistic career goals and the necessary steps to achieve them.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to facilitate client success in securing employment.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to community engagement.
  • Experience with digital outreach and social media platforms.
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse client needs and utilize various communication methods.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including refugees and low-income individuals, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated empathy, cultural competence, and a commitment to client success.
