Job Description

Plumbers Supply Co is seeking a skilled Pipe Yard Specialist to manage pipe inventory and shipments at our Louisville Branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and stock incoming pipe shipments, ensuring proper storage and organization.
  • Verify shipment details against documentation like bills of lading and invoices.
  • Enter relevant information into the ERP system accurately.
  • Pick, bundle, and load pipe onto customer vehicles, delivery trucks, and transfer trucks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pipe yard accessible for all stakeholders.
  • Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
  • Expertise in forklift operation required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety protocols.
  • Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
  • Professional demeanor with internal and external customers.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and occasionally more with assistance.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
