About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Architect to join our team at THE TRAVELERS INDEMNITY COMPANY. As a Business Architect, you will play a critical role in defining, assessing, and planning to bridge strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategy development support to business architecture and business and functional teams.
  • Conduct business capability discovery and analysis, focusing on complex organizations and business environments.
  • Provide analysis of metrics and key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and manage artifacts to support business architecture initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated business experience with working knowledge of business analysis, process improvement, and/or business architecture.
  • Leadership Skills: personally accountable, ability to commit to and deliver outcomes.
  • Influencing Skills: seeks opportunities to learn from and influence others.
  • Relationship Management: basic emotional intelligence, ability to consider others' ideas, and respond well to feedback.
  • Organizational Skills: adaptable, with ability to accommodate shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Communication Skills: solid oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to convey information in accurate and consumable models.
  • Problem Solving and Analysis Skills: ability to assimilate and correlate information, identify patterns, and articulate organizational relevance.
  • Technical Skills: technical knowledge, including understanding of systems and data, quantitative acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
