AWS Data Architect Job Description

Cognizant is seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze critical and non-critical data to suggest a robust data model and integration pattern without breaking existing publishing processes.
  • Ensure data is accessible, secure, and reliable by developing and maintaining data frameworks, models, and policies.
  • Understand overall data requirements and improve databases to work faster and handle more data efficiently.
  • Manage end-to-end data architecture from selecting the platform, designing the technical architecture, and developing the application to finally testing and implementing the proposed solution.
  • Develop and implement an overall organizational data strategy that is in line with business processes.
  • Identify data sources, both internal and external, and work out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy.
Requirements:
  • More than 12 years of industry experience playing a role of a Solution Architect integrating efficient data processing platforms.
  • Expert knowledge on AWS platform and integration pattern that work in concurrence with AWS adhering to policy and security standards.
  • Good experience architecting Data management, Data quality, Data integration, and Master Data Management programs as per enterprise standards.
  • Solid experience architecting both RDBMS and NoSQL db.
  • Strong experience with data model designs, database development standards, implementation, and management of data stores and data analytics systems.
