Job Title: Boston Office Director

At Toole Design, we are seeking an experienced and talented Office Director to lead our Boston team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for fostering a positive culture and healthy morale while maintaining a productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of the Architecture and Engineering industry, a minimum of 10 years of experience, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting firm or similar. You will be responsible for managing and nurturing staff, pursuing and winning work that is competitively bid, and solving problems, putting out fires, and helping others navigate tricky situations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with a dynamic and diverse team, has excellent oral and written communication skills, and a strong interest in multimodal transportation and/or sustainable places.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow a talented team of professionals
  • Manage, mentor, and recruit new staff
  • Pursue and win work that has a positive impact on communities
  • Oversee staff and project performance to ensure top-quality work
  • Participate in business development pursuits in your home region and across our North American offices

Requirements:
