Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented GME Program Administrator II to join our team at Tulane University Staff. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Internal Medicine Residency program, ensuring compliance with ACGME specialty program requirements and overseeing recruitment and hiring logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Program Director and GME Office to ensure compliance with ACGME requirements
  • Oversee recruitment and hiring logistics, including credentialing, orientation, and graduation
  • Plan and staff recurring meetings, including the Program Evaluation Committee and Clinical Competency Committee
  • Manage reimbursements and support budgeting and reporting for the program
  • Provide secretarial support to the Director and Department Administrator
Requirements
  • Related coordination/administrative experience
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, and administrators
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and discretion in the performance of all duties
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' program coordination experience
  • OR High School Diploma/equivalent and 8 years' program coordination experience, including database management and website management experience
