Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Assist the Director of Nursing in directing nursing activities, developing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Care Coordination: Coordinate nursing care with other resident services to ensure continuity of care and meet the needs of our residents.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and evaluate nursing staff, ensuring they are following established procedures and providing high-quality care.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, such as completing medical forms, reports, and evaluations, as necessary.
Requirements
  • Education: Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
  • Experience: Must have at least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
  • Licensure: Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN in this state.
  • Skills: Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.
  • Leadership: Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
