Key Responsibilities:
- Provide education and recommendations to patients regarding optimal treatment options tailored to their desires and skin types.
- Stay informed about new products and services through ongoing education and self-directed learning.
- Communicate respectfully and clearly with patients about risks, expectations, and pre/post-treatment instructions to ensure comprehensive understanding.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation by the end of each day.
- Ensure the highest standards of treatment and customer service are upheld at all times.
- Facilitate efficient patient flow while prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collect and document patient information and clinical data accurately and promptly, ensuring confidentiality.
- Address care inquiries or complaints to resolve issues promptly.
- Deliver patient care in accordance with provider orders, following practice guidelines and applicable regulations.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
- Comply with all OSHA standards.
- Operate clinical equipment in accordance with established guidelines.
- Manage inventory and maintain exam rooms and supply storage areas, monitoring expiration dates and acting accordingly.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute constructive feedback for improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Successful completion of a state-approved Aesthetician program; laser certification may be required in certain areas.
- At least one year of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of patient care techniques related to skincare treatments, including fillers, lasers, injectables, and other non-invasive rejuvenation methods.
- Ability to adapt personal availability in response to changes in patient volume and activity levels.
Work Environment:
The role may involve exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards, or toxic substances in a medical office, procedure/exam room, and laboratory setting. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
