Job Title: PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst

At Strategic Systems Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing functional support to end-users and ensuring the smooth operation of our PeopleSoft HCM modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day functional support to end-users on core HR functionality, including Position Management, Job configuration, HR transactions, and mass updates.
  • Take ownership of functional issues by identifying underlying problems, analyzing potential solutions, and implementing system resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain functional design documents and work with senior system analysts to develop system enhancements or resolutions to system issues.
  • Own the testing processes, including development of test plans, test cases, scenarios, and results documentation.
  • Work with senior system analysts and division supervisors to continuously improve operational policies, practices, procedures, and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of PS HCM 9.2 modules functionality and architecture.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft general architecture, development environment, tools, and capabilities.
  • Knowledge of business system modeling and requirements gathering techniques.
  • Knowledge of Core HR functionality, including Fluid ESS, MSS.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM data and data flows.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Security.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with creating test plans, conducting Unit and System testing, and coordinating User Acceptance testing.
  • Human Resources consulting and/or HR functional systems design and implementation background, including PS Core HR.
  • Knowledge of other PeopleSoft HCM modules, version 9.2.
