Millbrook Support Services Inc is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and critical thinking skills, with a deep understanding of applied behavior analysis principles. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans for individuals with behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to track progress
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective interventions
  • Build rapport with clients, maintain detailed and accurate documentation, and adapt strategies based on each individual's needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years supervision and/or teaching experience with students with exceptional needs
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certificate
  • Master's Degree in Psychology or Special Education
  • Certification as a BCaBA therapist or higher
  • Must hold current teaching certificate for special education and issued by the Arizona State Department of Education
  • Evidence of behavioral training and experience working with students who are on the autism spectrum, are identified with an emotional disturbance, or exhibit behavioral challenges
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between schools
  • Knowledge of function-based intervention planning for developing behavior change strategies that focuses on reducing problem behavior and increasing more appropriate behavior
  • Knowledge of techniques needed to successfully complete effective Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), function-based interventions and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Knowledge in the use of assessment and assessment data to inform instruction and prescribe work plans for individual students
  • Expert knowledge in research-based instructional strategies and ability to implement them effectively. Exceptional knowledge in the use of technology to support instruction
