Your Role

Koch Industries is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as a Human Resources Onboarding Specialist within our Building Products Division. This position will play a crucial role in enhancing the onboarding experience for new employees in our manufacturing operations.

The HR Onboarding Specialist will collaborate closely with the HR Manager and serve as a key partner across various levels of the organization, driving human resource initiatives aimed at improving performance and engagement. This role will also involve working with HR Managers and Business Partners at other facilities to provide comprehensive HR support and manage cross-site HR projects. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic environment, effectively addressing the needs of both internal and external stakeholders. This position is essential in our mission to onboard, develop, and retain top talent while transforming our HR service delivery to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee candidate experience and manage all preboarding processes.
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
  • Assist in the selection process, including scheduling interviews and organizing career fairs.
  • Maintain regular communication with new employees to enhance engagement and address inquiries.
  • Establish trust and credibility with employees and leadership.
  • Develop a strong understanding of business performance drivers to support organizational goals.
  • Create effective solutions that empower teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Occasionally work outside standard hours to fulfill business requirements.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to deliver a range of HR services in a manufacturing context.
  • Foster positive employee relations and assist in resolving various HR issues in partnership with supervisors.
  • Gather and analyze data to maintain HR dashboards and generate reports from HRIS.
  • Enhance the employee experience by improving onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Act as a supportive leader in advancing our organizational culture.
  • Perform additional HR duties as required.
  • Engage with all organizational levels, including developing and presenting content to large groups.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to build relationships effectively.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in human resources, administrative support, or project coordination.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in human resources, administrative support, or project coordination.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources or a related field.
