Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Strategy Manager at Tropicana Brands Group, you will serve as a pivotal finance partner, delivering financial insights and recommendations that facilitate informed decision-making within the organization. This role presents an opportunity to elevate your financial acumen and analytical capabilities in a dynamic environment.

The Financial Strategy Manager will collaborate closely with our Sales division, focusing on fostering profitable growth. This position will provide comprehensive support and partnership to our customer sales teams in areas such as annual planning, ongoing forecasting, reporting, financial analysis of new business ventures, and the formulation of pricing and promotional strategies.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and provide insights into key performance indicators: volume, pricing, margins, and profitability compared to previous periods and forecasts by customer and product on a regular basis.
  • Lead the development of customer strategic plans and annual operating plans, including presentations for management.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of annual pricing strategies integrated into customer retail plans.
  • Model and assess incremental funding requests or strategic adjustments to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Conduct trade management and funding reviews with sales teams to maintain transparency.
  • Prepare and analyze periodic management reports, forecasts, and presentations.
  • Act as a key resource and change agent for the implementation of a new Trade Promotion Management system.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Streamline processes by evaluating current tools and systems, and designing new procedures for enhanced reporting efficiency.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and project support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration is required.
  • An MBA or CPA designation is advantageous.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods, in areas such as Sales Finance, Revenue Growth Management, or Financial Planning and Analysis.
Skills & Capabilities:
  • Proficient in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert findings into actionable strategies.
  • Results-driven with a proven ability to lead projects to successful completion.
  • Innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement of processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with all management levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage stakeholders across the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a quick learning ability for various in-house software applications.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally is required.
  • Experience in people management is a plus.
