As a key member of our Supply Chain Communications team, you will be responsible for translating a wide range of content from English to French, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and style while adhering to Walmart's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and finalize translation of documents sent by various departments, meeting the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and style.
  • Proofread, edit, and revise the work of other translators as needed.
  • Develop and maintain an internal terminology database to ensure consistency in translation.
  • Work on specific projects, new requests, and ongoing requests, interpreting videos and other spoken-word media as needed.
  • Carry out research and collaborate with requesters on project-related questions, providing feedback to improve translation quality.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Walmart business and retail operations to support messaging.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of translating experience from English to French.
  • Experience in Supply Chain operations.
  • Comfortable working directly with speech writers for leadership on timely/near real-time translations.
  • Experience with SDL WorldServer or applicable translation tools.
  • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree in translation or related field.
