Crosscheck Inspection Services, a comprehensive provider of Special Inspection and Material Testing solutions, is in search of skilled Tenant Protection Plan (TPP) Compliance Inspectors to enhance our team. In this role, you will be tasked with executing inspections to ensure adherence to the tenant protection plan as required by regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct special inspections in alignment with the stipulations set forth in Chapter 1 of Title 28 of the Administrative Code and the NYC Building Code.
- Perform regular inspections to confirm continuous compliance with the tenant protection plan throughout construction, alterations, or partial demolition activities.
- Document and report conditions prior to the initiation of work, at the commencement of construction, and on a weekly basis during ongoing construction or demolition.
- Verify that corrective measures are taken for any violations related to the tenant protection plan.
- Monitor modifications in construction or demolition activities that may necessitate updates to protection methods.
- Maintain records of all inspections conducted and confirm compliance with the tenant protection plan.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in special inspections, ideally focusing on tenant protection plan compliance.
- Thorough understanding of NYC Building Codes, particularly relevant sections.
- Familiarity with the NYC Department of Buildings' requirements regarding tenant protection plan inspections.
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to accurately document and maintain records.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, showcasing professionalism and integrity.
- Relevant certifications or licenses, such as NYC Special Inspector certifications, are highly advantageous.
