Essential Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or GED is required. Completion of an accredited Radiology program or a certified hospital-based program is necessary, along with credentialing from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Experience: A minimum of two years in diagnostic radiology is required.
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification is mandatory.
  • Additional Skills: Comprehensive understanding of radiographic equipment and accessories is essential. Candidates should possess analytical skills and basic computer proficiency. Knowledge of age-specific care modifications is required, along with the ability to interpret information to meet each patient's unique needs. Strong communication skills are necessary, with the capability to operate independently in diagnostic settings and adapt to various procedures.
