Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and other radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including routine, emergent, biopsy, and special procedure examinations, in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent customer service and ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer contrast media as directed, in accordance with all policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records of patient information.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture.
Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a CT technologist within the past 2 years or minimum six (6) months experience in an acute hospital setting within the last year.
  • Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) required at hire OR Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior CT work experience using helical and/or multi-detector technology.
  • Attendance at CT and cross-sectional anatomy courses.
  • Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning; attention to detail; problem-solving, decision-making, judgment; technical skills; initiative; communication, interpersonal skills, customer relations, organizational relations; adaptability; flexibility.
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
  • Knowledge of Policies and Procedures.
  • Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Science or related field.
  • Bachelors degree in Radiologic Science.
