Job SummaryKaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners and other radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring optimal patient care and safety.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, including routine, emergent, biopsy, and special procedure examinations, in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent customer service and ensure seamless care coordination.
- Administer contrast media as directed, maintain accurate records, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Minimum one year of experience as a CT technologist within the past two years or six months of experience in an acute hospital setting within the last year.
- Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (Oregon) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
- Prior CT work experience using helical and/or multi-detector technology.
- Attendance at CT and cross-sectional anatomy courses.
- Organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills.
