The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the boutique, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales productivity. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring that all stock is properly stored and accounted for.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure that the boutique is clean and well-maintained, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, trash removal, and window cleaning.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Team Management: Supervise and support the sales team, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure that they are meeting their sales targets.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in a retail environment, preferably in a luxury setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficient in computer skills, including operation of retail point of sale systems, Microsoft Office, and email.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, handle, reach, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, push, lift, carry, push, and pull weights up to 50lbs.
