Job Title: ERP Implementation Consultant (Supply Chain)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cross-functional business processes to align with and leverage new ERP system capabilities.
  • Utilize lean process improvement tools, such as value stream mapping and transactional process improvement, to coordinate cross-functional needs and stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze existing data, conduct master data analysis and cleanup, and plan migration of data into new ERP system implementation.
  • Project management and oversight of new ERP system implementation, with database support as needed from ERP vendor.
  • Develop or oversee development of standard material planning, procurement, and financial reports utilizing industry-standard report engine compatible with new ERP system.
  • Collaborate with Finance Department to ensure ERP implementation and reports will support company project-based accounting format and provide accurate costing data.
  • Develop documentation of processes and procedures to utilize the ERP system to provide accurate material status, including receipts, storage, lot planning, work orders, material issuance, attrition, and shipment.
  • Review and approve BOMs, Routers, and Item Masters as created or updated to ensure material planning is optimized to the production flow.
  • Supervise creation of lot formation plans and integration into work orders consistent with product specification and military standard ammunition lot formation requirements.
  • Implement and supervise Point-of-Use, the person, and other inventory control techniques where applicable to simplify the material flow process.
  • Supervise maintenance of accurate material records, including cycle counts and physical inventory.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years Supply Chain experience
  • Experience with various ERP systems
  • Strong material/production planning experience
  • Curiosity and a 'why' mentality
